woah.
my last entry was 23 march, more than a month ago.
yeaps, its time for me to update my blog,
for ppl who complain abt nothing new posted on it.

looking at my organiser, i shall start from 30 march.
went to watch amkss choir perform at republic poly with jasmine, jo and bobo.
so long since i saw them perform on stage.
the previous time was like during their camp when we just pop by.
its so fun to be able to catch up with them.
all the little boys who have grown from wearing green shorts to green long pants.
and all the girls who have blossomed so much into who they are today.
all the chit-chat during the interval till we forget to go back in.
and all the hugging and hitting. ouch :P
and thumbs up to yiru for the solo part.
i m so proud of u gal!
oh ya. almost forget abt meeting ms soo at the concert.
the last time she probably saw me was like my concert last year.
so cool to be able to see my sec sch choir plus ms soo there.
all the memories. wow. simply wow.

5 apr
choir prac ends so late that i missed the whole harmok and guitar concert.
so sorry folks. wanted so much to go but i got to settle admin stuff. haizz.
was so excited when i saw ms ng and the 4/1 ppl.
talked with ms ng for quite some time and glad to know how s she s doing.
went out to eat with the 4/1 ppl.
jo, kweegek, jancy, junhong, kelwin, zhengping, huimin, fangqing
yeah. went to s11 near jubilee to eat.
its so nice to catch up with old friends.
n so warm to sit together to have a meal.
though its a brief period of time, its been great.
makes me forget abt all the choir admin stuff.
and enjoy the company that i have. yeah.

Happy birthday to me! and a Good Friday!
so glad for the break on my bday.
went out with my family in the late morn for lunch at botak jones.
so much food to share around.
didnt eat much though (which makes my mum kinda worried)
half the time i was thinking about the unbalanced concert account.
went to zhengkai s house in the afternoon to try to figure out the accounts
which was like to no avail.
went down j8 sistic to buy tics again.
so many tics to buy n we had to let ppl behind us buy first.
the sistic lady probably recognise us even if we are wearing home clothes.
had dinner with the 4/1 ppl again at j8 pasta.
jess, jo, jewel, jancy, cuishan, junhong, kelwin, gab, daniel.
thanks so much for the bag and pins and stuff.
and of course, the company.
we went arcade after dinner.
didn t even know that there was an arcade until we reach there.
played some puzzle game with lots of sea creatures and yeah, we broke the high score. hehe.

choir prac at school.
thanks to all my beloved friends for the sudden birthday song at the foyer.
was very touched cos its so sudden.
and thanks for the present too.
and i m going to wear it for tml cos its all SKIRTS day for sops tml!

9-10 apr
e-learning day.
its a total waste of time n effort trying to log onto ivle when half the aj population tries to get onto it at the same time.
laggy system, coupled with confusion as i hunted for all the assigments.
glad for the choir pracs, so it brings me away from the dreadful work.
an excuse to be off staring at a computer teacher who s talks one word every 2 seconds .
glad that s the ordeal s over, after late night cum early morn digital mugging.
praying for sch days like i nvr do b4.

10-15apr (days leading down to concert!!!)
oh my. tics sales were bad.
my heart almost came out when i saw the figures sent by sistic.
nagging so hard for ppl to sell their tics.
not to forget - thanks so much to o5o6 ppl for their support in buying our tics.
my days were like argh.
stayed up every night dallying the accounts which were never right till the day b4 the concert.
was like a zombie in sch. walking lifelessly feeling so numb.
but i m glad for all the support of the choir ppl.
telling me not to stress and all the entertainment, esp by colin the conductor.
and thanks for the cooperation in the choreo.
to my elite choreo team for all the brainstorming and practices we had.
to zhengkai who has kindly stepped in to help.
to some who have to stand my impatience and temper.
to the many others who help me in one or another in everything.
and to a special someone huixin for ur support!

16 apr
VoyAJe: A New Journey Begins
finally, a day that we have all been looking forward to.
all our hard work, peseverance, sweat, tears, everything all in this one night.
was kept busy the whole day.
the mad rush from school to esplanade.
opening all the dressing rooms with one key within 10 min.
running from backstage to dressing room to backstage with a new set of costume.
rehearsal, phototaking, ticketing, presents, flowers, rushing ppl out of dressing room.
its the craziest day of the life, but yet the most amazing day too.
we did well. yeah. it s a gd performance despite the little glitches here n there.
was in such a relief when the whole concert was over.
no more ticketing, no more choreography, no more late nights for me.
was pretty nostalgic abt it too.
it was perhaps the last time the present choir would be performing a full concert together.
but still, it was good. the memories would definitely stay on and the friendships would last.
yeah.
btw,thanks for all the flowers from jo,jewel,jess n ms ng, o5o6!
was very tired after the concert. felt very drained and was starting to cough.
was contemplating on whether i should pon sch but haiz, i went in the end but slept in lessons.
fell asleep straight after i bathed and packed.
oh ya. must also give my thanks to all my teachers,
who tolerated me sleeping in their lessons n handing up my assignments late.
thanks so much. i really appreciate ur kindness.

19 apr - syf auditions
argh. the much dreaded-by-everyone syf auditions.
everyone was like busy mugging scores.
singing roti prata with siew mai ha kau in the midst of a fire drill.
mini sectionals for song without words in all the breaks.
then in the end, the audition was waternight.
somehow, i didn t really feel anything for the audition.
totally feelingless when i walked into the room, perhaps still suffering from post-concert symptoms.
sang and trembled like the horse in waternight when i ran out of air.
got into the team but it wasn t a really gd feeling.
for there s always audition post-blues.

21 apr - AJ family day (joie de vivre)
japanese rice cakes for sales!
stayed overnight at aaron s house to make the fan tuans for family day.
got me, yuhan, aaron, jinken, yongyuan, yuding, kwokhoe, eecheng.
went over at 10 plus on friday night.
slept at 12.30am plus. and woke everyone up at 2.30am to make the fan tuans.
was quite awake making the jap rice cakes.
was probably the first time i ll wake up so early to do such stuff.
it s quite fun actually, to be up n abt, chit-chating with half-awoken classmates while preparing food.
though it was a bit of a rush, but we still did it!
100 over fan tuans made in 5 hours!
yeah!
n really must thank aaron s mum for helping out n driving us to sch.
though we were really tired n fell asleep in the car, it s really quite an experience.
and our sales were great. a total sold-out by 10.30am.
went around with the choir ppl aggie, pyong, ms cai, huiting, gw, gerald, zkai, jk to the games n stuff.
watched ppl dance, like duckhead n ms yiak. n a potential choreographer yuhuai.
and of course, the other stalls like the flying balls games and haunted house where i was totally lost in the darkness cos i can t see well in the dark.
its great fun, the whole event.
but was so tired that i almost fell asleep during sectionals.
was like going to fall over anytime when i m singing.
haha. happy bday to guowei!

choir s getting busier. with 5 out of 7 days filled.
but i believe we are getting there.

perhaps i m numb. sometimes, it gets so painful that i can no longer feel the pain. the thought of it all. ouch or no ouch.
