wow! its been 2 whole long weeks plus plus that i last blogged.

hmm.... updates!

malacca trip - its probably a trip that makes u crazy. rush here rush there like nobody's business. first day check in, sound checks,practices,workshop, concert, nonstop. 2nd and 3rd day were much better. really. no mad rush. 4th day. shopping! wow. had a wild time at mahkota shopping centre. running around to buy the stuff that i need. carried lots of stuff when i went back to singapore. but haizz.. only that i took 3 photos out of e whole trip. reached home at 9 plus n ooh, my aunt was at my house. cleared my luggage so that she can borrow it. n she brought home the biscuits to my grandma, yeah. okay. should have reflections (like e comm meeting that we have late at night) - learnt a lot of singing techniques. all the english lessons n the grooving stuff with the clinicians. learnt more abt life also.

yeah! performance with SCO! - it may be tiring. but its pretty fun. its an almost full week of practices, all at night. although most of the time we were just singing om mani padme hum, its quite interesting to be singing together with a chinese orchestra. and SCO play very well!! u will feel totally absorbed in their music, esp e 2nd movement of om mani padme hum which still lingers in ur head. we got monks joining us too. they sang, they chanted. we wore all black for the performance, held black files, most probably cos we r supposed to be in the background. oh ya. forgotten abt e shanghai opera hse ppl, the singers with absolute vibrato that send powerful waves into ur ears. its a wonderful new experience to be in this performance! with all the fun we had in the changing room carolling, its great!

christmas carolling. here we come a carolling!! we already had christmas stints. 16 dec @ 4 seasons. had to walk around the hotel to carol, at the lobby and the noisy chinese restaurant. had our seniors there to support us, yeah! we wore our gowns n banana suits, together with santa hats, angels' halos and eight pairs of reindeers ears. so cool! 18 dec @ changi airport. practised christmas carols b4 we went there. its another whole new experience at the airport. so many tourists took photos of us. esp at the transit area where me,nat n sueann pose for tourist to take pics of us. 2 reindeers with an angel. we also rush around- terminal 1 to terminal 2 back to terminal 1 then terminal 2. took sky train as the transport. its great fun! but its just too bad that we had to wear court shoes.was having cramps when the time we finished all the carolling sessions. waited a long time for the coach to come. dunno whether is it we lost or way or the driver lost his way. the bus came only at 11. reach school at 11.30. changed in the choir room. yeah i finally know how to change out of my gown without the need to go to the toilet. so late already by the time we went out of school. took bus 86 to amk interchange. the bus driver forgotten that i was on the bus. by then, he had to drop me at where ppl alight the bus. alamak. anyway, i m glad that he did that cos he drop me where i m supposed to take my the other bus n it just happen that my bus just came. erm.. perhaps i was unlcky that night. it was raining heavily n i got on the bus with a bunch of not-so-sane ppl. a group of 4 comprising of 1 auntie, 3 uncles(or should i say ah pek). hmm.. they were talking in some dialects n apparently i heard quite some bit of vulgaries n they were laughing like mad ppl. i quite freaked out. its already midnight arghh... n i m stuck on the bus. with them. arghh. luckily 2 stops later more ppl alighted or i would probably jump down e bus. finally got home at 12 plus. phew.

62A gathering - so sorry guys for missing it. cos i got to go for the changi airport carols. hoped that u have enjoyed urself. heard that quite a lot of ppl turned up. glad to know it. been great that we are still having gathering after 4 yrs. yups.

today(or should i say yesterday since its morning now) - woke up at 12.40pm. first time ever i woke up so late. did homework. gaining more momentum to do holiday assignment cos i don t plan to die when school reopens. have completed 35% of my work. planning to complete 90% b4 school term starts. gotta cheong for it. went for my first maths tuition with mr seah after one whole year of not having any tuition. ooh mr seah hasn t changed much. still look very much the same. haizz. my maths is terrible, horrible and incorrigible. i spent 2 hours doing 5 binomial qns in the hol assignment given. wonder if i ll ever complete it. but at least i ve gained back some interest in maths. yeah. finished tuition at 9.45pm. waited for e bus for abt 1/2hr. apparently, there has been an accident somewhere near the 409 marketplace which jammed up the bus service. wonder what happened but anyway everyone tried to squeeze up the bus cos the service became 1 hour 1 bus thing instead of the usual 10 min routine. dunno why such things always happen to me. the other time i got stuck on the same bus for 1/2 hr becos the opposition rally for the general election created a jam. alamak.

its been raining heavily the whole day. nonstop. n its very cold. had been wearing a jacket since i woke up cos its really like winter in singapore. the weather forecast says the rain will persist for a few more days. aiyo. wonder when it ll stop. some places have already flooded n the rain still not stopping. i pray for e rain to stop.
