The Rabbit and the River

there was once a rabbit who wanted to cross the river to the other side of the forest. there are many ways to cross the river, by land or by crossing those stepping stones. the rabbit who had never been over to the opposite bank wanted to get to the other side of the forest to see what wonders there could be there. there are some who encourage the rabbit to take the long route, others who decided that the rabbit should just take the shorter way which the rabbit, being its usual curious self, decided to take the stone path. the rabbit stepped on the stones, slowly and carefully until it reaches a stepping stone which seems to be unstable. the rabbit was unsure of whether to take the step. should i take the step or should i turn back and take the long way to the opposite bank, the rabbit asked itself. should i take the risk, maybe drown in this river or wait to see if this stone is steady for me to step on? the rabbit was undecisive of whether it should take the risk. so it returned to its shore. it waited and waited and waited to see if the stone would give way. as time pass by, the rabbit once again mustered its courage to cross the river. but when it reached the same step, the rabbit was again at a crossroad.

Should the rabbit take the risk of taking the next step or just take the long route to the other side of the forest? in life, one always have to make decisions and sometimes risk. but whether this decision will help u or destroy u is another story on its own. its food for thought.
